Does morel make them for Lunati? I have direct access to lunati. What makes them such a good lifter? Are they made differently or do they just have better quality?
|
They have started making them for Lunati as of late.
Not sure why they last so much longer I've seen nothing bad from them yet, they arent cheap but worth the money IMO. |
I went to lunati's website. They show a new lifter on the market. Are these the ones that we are talking about. http://www.holley.com/data/types/pic...lerLifters.pdf
These are the ones made by Morel?I'm going to check on them. |
I've been using the old redzone lifters with needle bearings for 1500 miles.

Just got off the phone with lunati about the new lifters they offer. They are made by Morel, and they are priced nicely. From lunati ,$650.00 from a vendor that they recommended $550.00. They are fully rebuildable including tiebar and fasteners. They sound like a good deal. If what I am understanding about the morel lifters is true, These might be the lifter to have.

Man`,
I am really sorry. I do try my best to help everyone who emails me, phones me, and sends me PM's, and still get my work and ordering done, but i just fall behind. I will answer your pm here in public. This lifter or these lifters do carry a name on them that says Custom Cams, but that is not anything you can go by. There are two different small cam companies with similar names and oddly enough they know each other but thier business are separate in different states. I am pretty sure I have some pics of these lifters. I will see if I can find the pics and upload to my photobucket and then post them here in this thread. If taht will help any. I can not off the top of my head tell any prices becuase each order is separate and some are off-set, some are extra tall, some are standard ht, and then we have the differences in the .842 - .875 - and the .904 lifters in all of the previous styles. So if anyone buys these from me or from any dealer we first have to know the specifics of what the exact lifter is, and calll and get our prices and what we are supposed to sell them for. I have always found these to be considerably less than the Crower Hippo Cut-away and the Isky Red-Zone. I have never used or priced the Morel, so I know nothing about those. Ed |
Thanks for the reply Ed......You have an email :D
