I would contact Don Stanley @ TSI (Transmission Specialities Inc), the original one, at 630 458 0071.

Owner is a real racer and has been in business since the 70's. He has been doing RACING transmissions and converters since 1962.

He is the best for getting the right combo for the application.

I worked there in the 70s and 80s.

I have had brian phaze at bdr build me 3 converters for different car and engine combos and he has been bang on every time, infact i just ordered another one for my new 565 combo great price and only 1 week to build... he builds them to the customers engine specs and drivetrain not a pulled of the shelf converter.... they work..

Marty's a great guy and I'm sure his bolt together aluminum convertor had a big part to play in getting me into the 6's in the quarter.
It doesn't matter how close you are to Kansas...hell he sent mine to New Zealand!

If you want a well built converter on a budget call Greg Samuels. New Opel core converter, billet cover, machined steel stator, spragless for less than most others. Deadly consistent and virtually indestructible.
