Also bought a digital dial board from Biondo because I race alone quite a bit and I hate when I decide to change my dial AFTER I have strapped in. No more problem. Ordered new front runners hoping they won't leak through the sidewalls like the last set. Probably going to get a new scoop for the car. Updating me also with a new firesuit.
http://www.profoxracing.com/racing-suit.html The wife bought me a new 20' enclosed trailer so I have been working on getting it set up the way I want. I have to say this has been a good Christmas season for me. I hope everyone of you has as blessed of a Christmas as my family is having. Curtis |
4 new tires & oil change

Badrat,
I put dishsoap in one and slime in the other. It slowed down the leaking but still won't hold more than a week. Thanks for the compliment on the wheels, I really like them Champion has some good prices on there wheels. Curtis |

Goodyears on both accounts. I haven't mounted the new ones yet but I am going to soap them just to be safe. The reason for GY is the first set was used and I am running GY on back. Plus they were the cheapest when I went to buy.

If you got time soap them twice. Use a brush and concentrate on the sidewalls. It might not be the total cure but it sure helped me.

Yep, put 3 coats on the last ones. It did help, you should have seen how bad they were when I first got them.

Changes
A gear change, delay box, carb spacer, & built a set of zoomies for the short FED. Oil, maintenance, etc..

I never soap mine and knock on wood never had a single issue. Getting ready to slap 4 new goodyears on in next few weeks, hope no issues again.

Replaced 468 with an 565 bbc.

Bought a 79 Z/28 a few nights back, will be delivered tomorrow. Nice clean 4-speed car with a just refreshed Chevy ZZ4 crate motor. We will see if it meets my expectations when it gets here.
