Vette back from the bodyshop

Hello
I tried to post some pics....hope they are not too big
The car came back on Friday. It is in primer right now with a bit of a flame design to it. The flames are not as they will be when it is painted( too expensive to get too fancy in primer), but it does make for an old Hot Rod look which is what I wanted
take care
Tom

camaro74454 08-13-2007 12:15 PM

Thanks guys..My only problem with the car is a few small bubbles in the roof, and the last guy to do paint job didn't block sand, so it looks great up intil about 5 feet away.Would have been done already but I got the hood,so now the engine is screaming to breathe more. ...This car will be mine forever.

lotsof454sss 08-13-2007 04:30 PM

:D Thanks, It is a stock suspension car. I just finshed up the new engine....only been to the track 3x now with it. Still getting it sorted out.
I have done everything to the car including engine, trans, rearend work, etc. Except for the paint. Which I had done almost 10yrs ago now.
496
AFR heads, 1000hp carb, solid roller, 10.5:1.
Runs on pump gas all the time.
Still street driven.
TH400, edge 4400 converter, 12 bolt w/4.10 gear.
Best time in my sig, so far.

Here is a pic of my 1968 Camaro SS that I am currently doing a complete frame off resto on. Also currently working on a 496BBC for it. My thoughts are keeping it looking stock but hiding a 650hp engine in a full street trimmed show car. Gotta love it!!
