PalPal Scammer +1 (989) 533-4369 BEWARE
 

+1 (989) 533-4369 Wayne Henderson???? Just tried to PalPal scam me for $980.00. Said I must send the $980.00 via RIA Money Transfer, then my funds would post to PayPal.

Called PayPal they confirmed SCAM!!!!! Never ever send money in this circumstance.

This is part of the Scammer's Bogus Email.
"This is to inform you that you are required to send a sum of $980.00 USD to the address below via Ria Money Transfer and get back to us with the relevant information which you will be provided with after the money has been sent. You are requested to give us the REFERENCE number, the sender's name and Address used in making the transfer after which we will then credit the total sum of $7,980.00 USD into your PayPal account.
Please, find below the name and address of the Transport Agent where the money should be sent via Ria Transfer:"

Had text from same scammer yesterday 2hrs after posting my ad. Wayne knows nothing about your ad except the title asks stupid questions and when challenged says everything is acceptable and then wants to Pay Pal the money to you. I always try to make them call me to give name and address and I said I wasn't willing to give up 3-5% to Pay Pal on a $40,000 deal. This is the second time I have posted an ad on RJ and both times have been contacted by a scammer on the first day. I sure wish there was something RJ could do about this problem there are so many good honest people that want to use this site and I think reflects badly on all.

I had the same thing happen to me today. Exactly as johnbelk described. I reported it to PayPal.

He appears to change his name but shipping address is the same:

Got the same BS on a trailer I have listed today. Same number, same alias "Wayne Henderson"

This guy tried the same thing with me, I saw this note and decided to play into it. I submitted all correspondence to the IC3 the FBI site. I URGE all of you to do the same, let's clean out the scumbags!

This guy contacted me today with same scam, on a $55,000 car no less. Racing Junk, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE SCUMBAGS!!!! Mep

Hello again RacingJunk members, I have two more numbers to add to our POS SCAM list when I posted my Trans AM and Sprint car yesterday I received text within an hour from both Scammers about each ad separately about both items POS SCAM # 551-666-4696 and POS SCAM # 701-645-4324 Hope this helps other honest RJC members !!

This guy is still at it. I posted my mud truck for sale yesterday evening. This morning at 7:30 he texted me. His wording was just kind of suspect. So I Googled his phone number and found this post.

Had the same number try to scam me today on a recent posting of a road race car. Only real difference was the receivers name this time. It was Davy Crocket. Man, I'd love to get this guy in my crosshairs.

Same thing here. I just posted my Mod Dirt car for sale yesterday evening. This morning at 10:30 he texted me. No name, just the number. His wording was again just kind of un-natural. So I Googled his phone number and found this post. Always best to be careful! Let's get this guy! Thanks to all who posted the warnings!

Do you have the contact info for reporting this? He's still at it, and I'd like to help take him down! Or AT LEAST make life a little less comfortable for him! ;-)

Had a call from 989-533-4369 about 2 hours after posting my ad. SCAM. 2 other numbers as well 917-259-2351 ,401-236-6874. Just the language used in the text you can smell a RAT also never give your bank account info when asked. My reply was and always will be CASH ONLY. That stopped the calls.

He texted me 15 minutes after my ad went up. Scum

I posted an add and got a reply from this # in under 5 minutes. Been scammed twice before...I hate thiefs. just got another one from 435-241-7688 too...beware
