K and N oil filters..

What do you guys think of k and n oil filters???? Wanted to try on my mustang this racing season... Or what do you guys think is the best severe duty drag race filter??? This is my 1st year of racing..

I have no experience with K&N oil filters, I run Wix racing filters on mine. As soon as I can swing it I will be changing to a pure power that I can pull apart and look inside. Here is some info that might help you.

ANYthing but FRAM !!

tcarda 02-19-2009 02:56 PM

I have used K&N for 4 years now with no problems. I agree....NO Fram!!

Had 632 Dry Sump (1200hp) Cold it would peg the gauge at 100psi then once hot it came down to 65psi...Used a K/N in the beginning before going with a Peterson inline stainless mesh.

Moroso on the 565ci wet sump...or Pure One.
