I think its funny how people can tell you that they are about 20-25(YOUNG) and then you go look at their profile and pics and they are like 50-55 haha!! WOW you got to use your head buddies!!!!

It's the same way withthe online dating sites. Somebody contacts you and the fisrt thing you see is their picture, and wow they look pretty good... until you realize it is from their highschool graduation party 40 years ago... :shock:
Why can't people just be honest up front, to you AND them...?

I take it you don't subscribe to a May/Sept. relationship :?: I can tell you when i was 48 i had a 20 yr. old live in, when i was 51 i had the same live in, and she was far from a DOG, in fact a model. A couple people on here here seen her in pics. with my car. I want post pics of her on this website, but that was when i lived out west where May/Sept relationships are the norm.That was almost 20 yrs. ago, When i moved back to the south/bible belt 13 yrs. ago what i seen was a lot of 20/25 yr. old ladies looking with 2 or 3 kids after getting married just out of HS if they finished, and knocking May/Sept. I've been single since 1982. I'm not into roundy round, but i can tell you that there are lot's 50 plus people that i know who can put you on the trailer in straight line racing, including one lady at 60 yrs. old.

Just chewing the fat, not looking for anything, been there done that.

No i guess we both missed the point, i'm just trying to say don't knock the guys that are 50 yrs. old that are hitting on you. You are obviously set in your ways, but there's nothing wrong with a 50 yr. old person hitting on a 19/20 yr. old IMO as far as roundy round racers being out of the loop and over the hill, you might want to look at Mark Martin, he showed all the kids the way home except Jimmy Johnson, who is in his late 30's. I wasn't trying to start a pissing contest, but at 71 in Feb. 2010 i can still keep up with you if you were running straight line.

And where in the heck is Fountain Inn, i lived in Anderson, SC in 1968/69 but never knew Fountain Inn.

in drag racing put you on the trailer means beat you in a race, in bracket racing , your done for the day , put it up on the trailer :)

It's all good Tia, I only do straight line racing, i personally think you are an asset to the forum, and i look forward to your posting some wins in 2010. In fact i hope to come back to SC in 2010 and make a few passes down Starlite Dragway with my blown 1948 Anglia, which i first went down in in 1968 with my blown 1956 T'bird a world record holder. I still have lot's of friends in Anderson including BJ and family, plus a couple of first cousins, and you are invited if i make it.

well its a hobby car..and we have a 355 500 lift cam, 492 heads 202 valves, 750 deamon carb., 9in Ford rear end, 700 gear, 3 speed trany and drive shaft! need i say more?! when we first built the car we left it stock (76 camaro) and im tellin you it was BAD ASS!!! ill find a pic and show you! it will make your blood boil!! but we put the sheet metal body on this year and mom did the letters and looks great!! wanna buy it?!!

And YES i did help lol caught my hair on fire cuttin the firewalls off the camaro and the nova!..we havent finished the nova yet but when we do ill let yall see :)

Well no reason to lie about my age, but sometimes I forget how old I am. :lol: But I am confused. When I was a teenager and early 20's everyone told me I acted like I was 50. You know, work all the time, building a house and stayed home most of the time. Now I am 41 or 42, (can't remember) started back racing 3 or 4 years ago ( sorry again can't remember. Time flys by anymore :shock: :shock: ) and now I act like a kid.
Am I going through a mid life crisis??

Good to hear that, you got a good combination, the car should haul a$$. i take it that track is a qtr. mile since you're running a 7.00 gear. The craze around here is mud racing and drag racing. My neighbor has a hobby car but the class he runs the engines have to be stock, seems like it gets tore up at every race he goes too, but hes has fun i guess.
