Lost Job today.
 

Well I lost my job today. I worked for them for 6 years. They have been around for 60 years. They have a no lay off saying for 60 years. But will let you go for total bull $hit. :twisted: I can't say to much I did get a Attorney today. he said I got a good case. :roll: We will see. :roll:

Sorry to hear that about you losing your job, but don't get your hopes too high from what the attorney told you. They're in a win/win situation no matter what the outcome turns out to be.

Sorry to hear about your job loss. I was working at Gateway Intl. Raceway whne it closed in Nov.
I just got a call about a job interview today.

mopar you seem to have a very poor attitude at the top of the thread is where the lawyer was mentioned i just wished good luck with that and what are you talking about cops and lawyers are mentioned all the time on these threads!

Business is born to make money, so business will do what it needs to to do that. Employment is AT WILL, a business cant promise you forever just as you can not promise a business forever.
You do not need an attorny, you need a new job and to grow some balls. :wink:

Sorry to hear of your layoff. Hope you find something real soon. Don't think the economy is recovering, no matter what the newpapers report.

jobs come & jobs go, but.....if you sue your present employer part of the background check for you next job will include a search of the county & state court records ,this information is free and public. good luck getting another good job for life if your involved in a suit like that. take a long think on that. And your attourny will say oh no that wont happen, after he gets a cut out of any settlement he wont give a crap about you.

you are 100% right. I was crying like a little baby. It was a real kick in the balls. You are also right the layer will do nothing for me like I said he will do anything to take a case. I am not going to go that way. I know it is a at will state. I was just really upset. But if I look at it one door closes another opens. Thanks for the kick in the a$$. :wink:

I am going to take my 401K and pay off all my chit and find something less stressfull till I retire in 6 years.

i am truly sorry about your job and really sorry to hear your dad is sick i wish you nothing but the best i also would like to bury the hatchet much rather be civil to one another as one of the guys said life is to short!
