I could hear it before I could see it
I was doing a car show last summer and I heard this loud rumbling sound. I'm thinking, WTH is that ? And yes, he drove it on the streets. He also had another '40 Willys. And two vintage firetrucks.

i gotta 41 glass willys, but it dont look like that!!!.i was gonna sell it (its just a projectcar right now) but i might just change my mind.i love the willys. my all time favorite car.

A big & ugly, innercooler(?), dual carbs, and a blower? Somethings not quite right there.

I cropped the pic and tried to make it clearer. I'm technically challenged on this one. You people know better than I do. I know it was running and sounded mean.

Looking at the picture, and seeing duel carbs. I don't think that an injection unit, it's just a butterfly hat and the box is not an intercooler, it's a filter box, The fake barrel valve is just a distribution block to the carbs. That's either a 671 or 871 blower, because the distributor is mounted in the back with no offset.
But it is a beautiful car. Outlaw, i've got a glass 41 willys also with Alston chassis (no suspension) i would like someone else to own (cheap) JMO Zip. |

I would have liked it more ( still would not put it on) if it were painted same color as the car. Chrome, WTH was he thinking????????????????
Was he trying to balance the rear with some chrome to match the front with the chrome on the motor? |
