Now that looks like fun.... probably like shifting a 2-stroke in max power band... whatever it is, its out of my price range.

I remember rowing through the gears waaaaaaay before I was able to drive and those gear boxes had about 23 gears ! "Waaaa-Waaaaa-Waaaa-Waaaaa-Waaaaa-Waaaaa-waaaaa-Waaaaaa-WAaaaaaa-Waaaaaa-Waaaaaa !"

I bet that 1-2 and 2-3 shift points get there in a hurry.

if you click on the link in my post above it tells how the corvette has a auto rev control to keep engine at right rpm for shifting , , dont know if i would like that too much

Yuck, thats like the skip shift they put in the Vette's that made you shift 1st to 4th if you were not in the throttle enough :!:

Around 2003 or 2004 I had a dark blue 1999 vett with a 6 speed. It was without any question my favorite car I've ever owned. Well that not very fair to say, I've only owned one other car and that was my x wives Camry that I repoed! lol
Anyway I still loved the vett and at some point when I hit my 2nd mid life crisis I'm gonna buy another. Probably gonna be a 2006 Z06.

Maybe we can talk Harbone into buying us an old Vett and doing a restoration on it!! :D

LOL!!! I am right smack in the middle of a mid-life crisis (first one)... I just don't have a Vette!! I don't even have a "Vette Motor" yet... so far all I have to show is a scarred eye socket, clicking jaw when I eat, & sprained thumbs on both hands... Headed to boxing class tonight too. Love this mid life thing... maybe the Camry is not such a bad idea??

You buy the Vette and I will restore it! 1968-72 Stingray would be nice :D

I was gonna guess corvette, it was something about the R that looked Vett ish.
