Bank Check
 

I have a guy from number 207-747-2213 wanting my name and address to send me a bank check. I can wait until it clears before I release the car I'm selling. Four of the five messages asked me for my info. He never asked any questions about the car. Never asked about the price. Says he's from North Carolina but the number is from a texting app registered to Portland Maine. I read online that a bank can not verify that a bank check is good for 3 to 4 weeks. I am not trusting this person at all. He won't tell me his user name for me to do some research. I told him that it sounds like a scam. He stopped texting me.

That number is listed to a land line in Peaks Island Maine I would run quickly away if I were you. Good luck

Definitely a scam!!!!
Don`t deal with them or open any email.
Do not give them any info.

I have this same thing showing up today from a 425-882-2933. He wants to send a bank check USPS. He will not call are give me his name. Wants me to remove the add. I have stopped all communications.

Sorry the number is 475-882-2933.
