Alright, I've got a 468 bbc with a 1050 cfm quick fuel technology drag race carb with 90/94 jets on it. I don't understand why I'm only running 8.145 in the 1/8 with a 85mph trap. I'm new to the drag racing world but I feel these number should be WAYYYY better
Transbrake on a Powerglide and launch at 3200 RPM. Rips through low gear like I'd expect, air shifter shifts perfectly at 6k RPM and then it acts like a turd in high gear. |
