I like the one made by Cloyes that has the slotted holes that you can turn the cam gear like a jessel. Alittle expensive for a chain but much easier than fooling with those bushings.

i prefer gear drives over chains, due to the the claims that are made of gear drives....google gear drive and read about them..

if your gonna go with a chain..get a cloyes TRUE ROLLER chain..

i agree with Zip on the brand of gear drive..i also run one in my 511ci and jessel belt drive on my 632ci

Actually i have no experience with B/blk in the last 20 yrs. except for the one i built last month. On my s/blks i have a comp/cam belt on my 434" that's going in my car shortly, but i have a Jessel under the bench as a spare that i bought dirt cheap on the other 2 engines i have hex adjust cloyes. When i ran a blown alcohol b/blk in the 80's i used a donovan gear drive and that's what i was basing my answer on. The b/blk i recently built i used a cloyes hex-a adjust chain, cost $140.00.
You can for sure spend more, and not get better.
