If you guys think that would help and get a response out of him, I'm all for it. Probably the only way to get a word in cause he won't let you talk on the phone, just gets nasty and hangs up. Which is why I think he's hiding something. :wink:
By the way just got my letter from Jason at MW stating the housing is not their's. The problem with the studs is the two center studs on each side of the right and left axle tube have the internal tube gussets welded over the top of them. Because of this, it's very labor intensive to cut all this out and reinstall. Other wise this would be simple fix.
Here is what he had to say:
"Bill,
To start out this housing is not a Mark Williams housing. The third member studs are so bent we can not get the center section in. We attempted to bend the studs back but we didn't succeed. The only way to check alignment is to remove all the studs, but to do this we would have to remove the gussets inside the housing. The labor to r & r the studs check alignment and reinstall the housing ends would be around $1000.00 + Due to the high cost I would suggest to build a new housing."
