Any suggestions? What about headers, collector length etc. I hate to lose the zoomies, they look cool, and they sound gooood! But I will for a good cause, What about piston to valve clearence, Im running wisecos with i think .250 dome. If you need more info, ask and ye shall receive. thanks.
Here's the cam you're talking about, it's a total powerhouse, works great with 406" motor, but if you want to spend less money and stay with a flat tappet, here's the one that will also work really good it's a bullit.
Second you're running a s/blk, they require RPM, shift it at 6800 atleast, leave as high as you can. I leave at 4800 with a 5500 converter. I run 5.43 gears with a 3200lb car 1.41 60' and run 124.85 1/4 with 14X32 tires. someone told me about 1 hr ago i can't run the QTR. with 5.43 gears, i said come watch. What RPM am i crossing the finish line, i don't know, probably 7500/7800, but it's still there for next round if i win.

Headers are o'k at 1 7/8 with a 406".
