MT made the rods for many years and at the time they were the best available.

Now with the advancement in aluminum alloys they would be on the lower end.

They could still live a long time with just the replacement of the rod bolts with current 8740 or arp 2000s.

They sell for the early hemis, in the 300-400 range for a new set, still.
