JMO this is common sense, I know that wearing a lot of safety equipment is uncomfortable, especially when the temperature and humidity is high, but we owe it to ourselves and families to protect our lives and well being to the best of our ability. OK i'll get off the soapbox.

AMEN too that, hehe, not getting off the soapbox suicidebomb, absolutely if you don't have the clothing don't get a fire in the kitchen.
But in reality it's easy to run in the 9's with a rat motor at 3300 lbs. i just put together a 477" no nitrous, 1050 dom. on gas in a 3700lb car it went 10.44 3rd. pass and 10.40 on the 5th pass down the track, but with a much smaller cam .722 lift.
