Man those w-motors had some beautiful valve covers.21 mpg in a 66...well it is a factory 327 with a powerglide so that means it comes with airplane gears in the rearend.2.73s.So with a 2.73 gear,a 237/75r15 tire and a 4 speed(no slippage) it turns 1700 rpm at 55 mph and only 2000 rpm at 65
Throw in a GM crate motor(Fastburn 385)with a tight duration hydraulic roller and you got yourself a decent little cruiser!Get 18 mpg highway with the A/C on
Just hope I never pull up beside you with that big w-motor..I'll get smoked for sure!! :cry:
