Kinda whats wrong with the younger generation, they've seemed to lost the ability to listen and give respect to their elders. I never would have talked to a respected adult like this when I was growing up. Hell I don't talk to my elders like that now, even if the elder is wrong. I can only just imagine what I might know now if I would have had a resource like this when I was younger. I did my learning with my pocket book and alot of overtime. Even without forums I listened to what the older racers had to say and was lucky enough to have a couple take me under their wings. I'll never forget those that got me where I'm at today. Not to long ago I had one of the older guys that helped me when I was just a pup hang out at my trailer. He sat there with a bigo smile while we went rounds. Heck he was like a proud father. Made me proud to give a little back. Kinda makes it all worth while. Especially with my son there to hear some of the old stories, even if they were embellished alittle.
