DMV sends out a trooper to find VIN number on the car so they can run it and make sure it isn't stolen or anything, Now he told me that the Vin number on the frame was a myth.Because car's get totaled and the frames either get replaced or repaired he said the vin is in three places and it is only the last 6 of the vin not the whole vin. {1} Left top of raditor support {2} remove blower motor look at edge where motor mounts {3} remove left rear speaker and look on flange where speaker mounts. I checked all three places and it was there. He used the one on raditor support.Now this was on a Mopar others could be different. JMO Mark
