The last resort is pulling the trigger, you pulled your gun and didn't do that, your lucky he didn't get the cops after you for brandishing a gun and turn the whole thing around on you!
It's 10:30 at night in the dead of summer. He is wearing a sweat shirt with the hood up and sunglasses. He is running full speed at my girlfriend and I and there are NO other cars or people around. HE IS LUCKY that I just scared him and didn't take out the kneecap I had my sights on. I dont want to be in that situation again, but if I am i will still pull my pistol. If he keeps charging...Ill shoot.Period.

 You guys shoulda seem him back-pedaling thru that parking lot

Brandishing a firearm is different from issuing a warning. If walk into a building waving a gun around you're brandishing...and stupid. If you pull out your weapon and warn someone to stop or your shoot, you just issued a warning. Just make sure you have a good, provable reason for doing so.
Your wrong but thats not my problem.
You was going to shoot a man running towards you in the knee cap?
If he was charging you then you pull the gun and shoot double tap to the chest, because dead men tell no lies.
