Dirk Diggler,
I will pray for your wife to have favor & the doctors to have revelation to help her... hang in there. Until then keep praying for strength & healing. I am sorry I did not see this thread earlier; I have been away a little. Scoot

Sorry I havent been on in a couple days. They shut down the internet for 2 days due to the notification of family for the soldier that was killed out here.
Right now she is at home taking the meds and I am trying to get caught up. What I have been told so far is that the meds are and arent doing their job. They prescribed 7.5mg percoset and stomach cramping meds and Phenigran for the nasuea and she is still barely able to eat and she is still having pain so bad she curls up in a ball. She is thinking that she may have to go back into the hospital. The nurses that she had didnt think that she should have been released already. She also told me that they are wanting to do surgury to see what the problem is also but I dont know.

Wishing you guys all the best. There is nothing more aggravating than not being able to diagnose an illness. My wife is in the medical field so I hear about things like this quite often. I hope something will be done soon to help your wife.

Same here, Curtis. My wife is a phlebotimist at the VA hospital, and she has her OWN medical mysteries to deal with. I can't imagine the emotional stress Dennis is going through right now. We're praying for you both, Dennis..

No she didnt go out and find a better doc. She is being super stubborn and wants to wait till she moves back east.
She did go into Urgent Care earlier this week and get different meds since the ones before werent really doing a good job. She still cant eat a whole lot without having a butt load of pain.
So I say right now it is hit or miss. She does realize that she needs to see a specialist but I can prolly tell you that she is nervous as well as scared. I just am hoping that she doesnt wait till it is too late to actually act and go in.

this is nothing to mess around with , could be a blockage or a number of other things , an ulcer in the tube leading out of the stomach will cause a lot of pain , too. I am no doctor but have had my share of digestive problems and I do hope the best for her , wish you were home to help her....Judy and I will add her to the prayer list Sunday....I wish I could help , but I might as well be as far away as you ....
