Jimbo,
Re direction doesn't work here. Below is what you said AND MEANT. Everyone here now knows of your infinite wisdom and superior intelligence, not to mention your wordly ways, we will try to do better for you.

In today's world... believe nothing you hear and only half what you see, and cut that in half every day!

Nope- no redirection on this one. What you said was specific:

This level of education reveals the preliminary reason this guy got scammed... and I am sorry but that is not OUR problem...!

To read this is to assume that you are stereotyping the less educated as a driver for being scammed.

First off all this is an obviously arrogant comment. It is also ignorant.

The level of education has nothing to do with being scammed. You can have a PHD, complete a sales agreement, send a USPS MO via registered mail and ..... still not get your parts.

The assumption in reading your quote is that buyers withhout education dont know what to ask or how to protect themselves and that is not true. I know several very smart businessmen who dont have college and are smart and business savvy.

Your statement looks down on people based on how much school they have- Its obvious yet there's no effort to apologize.

Even if you did not mean it that way- you could see the misinterpretation and apologize.

But of course you couldnt do that.

People get scammed because the other party is dishonest. And getting scammed has nothing to do with education, economic standing or any other stereotype.

As you seemingly judge people by their education, you are now being judged by your words.

karma is indeed a bitch today.

Nice try- lol.

What you said was the exact opposite of Bjuice.

Based on your vast experience Bjuice's friend is more likely to be scammed due to his education.

Good try though.

Forum users just read his original posts not his follow-up comments which contain more mis-direction than a game of three card Monte.

Jimbo,
You might be smarter than me, but you aren't smarter than US collectively.

Guys, I am not trying to pretend to be smarter than anyone on here, becaue I am nowhere near that... singely or collectively... I am just a dumbazz flunkie from the school of hard knocks, who has a sick sense of humor.

Have any of you ever heard of antonym, litotes, or Janus words...?
Just for fun, check them out in the dictionary...

I am not trying to dazzle you with brilliance or baffle you with bullshyt, I guess I just under-estimated that you guys would take such satirical ridicule so seriously... then when it got really fun I kept egging you on... and it worked...

A very astute philosopher once proclaimed... "Never argue with an idiot, as the spectators may have a hard time identifying which one is the real idiot..."

So, I played along, and you guys followed up just as expected, and we ALL looked like idiots...! But, I can laugh at the fun we had, because if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at...? Seriously?

So, if you still want to call me an idiot or smartazz or any other fun names... whatever... I still like you guys anyway...

And yes, I will probably say more stupid things along the way that will make you freak out and jump all over me again... but hey, what are friends for, huh?

So, here I am still, and will keep coming back here to check things out, so don't think you will run me off crying to my room so easily just because you called me a bunch of childish things... I understand we all had fun, and I even kind of enjoyed the challenge. Lets do it again sometime...

And I don't see spell check on here. Or how about the moderators put in a "RANT & RAVE" section for those like me, LOL. There's alot of people in racing that has had bad expreinces with people thats not on here, but looking to save someone else some grief later on. They find this section and just want to rant and share. Do You blame them? I don't post that much, but I love to come on and read the posts where Scorpion leads the pack to get justice for someone. Or just to offer someone advice on what they can do. Or even to find out who is a good seller. Guys, and I mean the ones that frequent this section, I like you all and love to read the posts, but a few of you need to think before you write. I'm sure I'll get that last line turned back at me. Help the people alittle, before you chose to make fun of them. I just think the more people that feel welcomed in this section, the more help for everyone in the long run. If the moderators thinks this post is wrong please delete it. Thanks for reading. Merry Christmas and happy Holidays to all.

Just wanted to bring this back to the top. It got way off subject. I think its an issue that needs dealt with.I know people that have been scammed on RJ and would like to warn others but refuse to post on here because they dont have the time to deal with the peolpe that use this forum as a form of negative entertainment. You know who you are.Your like a pack of hungry wolfs waiting to be thrown a bone. And then you want to see who can get the biggest piece.(Who can top the other ones post)Do you really believe that this helps. All you do is make people mad, and run them off. Or they dont even post at all,for fear of being bashed for one reason or another. Then the scammer lives to scam another day. Ive even seen positve post on here answered with negative comments. I dont believe this helps anyone. I respect what this forum is suppose to be for. However I dont approve of some of the tactics (If thats what you believe it is) that are used. I think if you would try to handle things in a more positive way, you would get better results. Not only that, more people would come on here and post, because they would feel welcome, as the original poster stated. And if more people post more scammers are caught. JMO
