While searching for more honest opinions, I came across liven app review in UK which sheds light on how users perceive CBT features in mental health subscription apps. The review pointed out that although the CBT journey section can sometimes feel superficial and over too soon, many people still learned helpful concepts from it. There were remarks about the explanations being fairly understandable but sometimes a bit "AI-tasty," which I took as slightly impersonal or too general at times. Despite this, users appreciated the reflective tests and basic introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy concepts. The review also praised the customer service as quick and professional, which definitely adds to the overall experience despite the CBT content not being deeply personalized. Many users described a good balance between quick information delivery and usefulness, even if it was less comprehensive than some expected. From what I gathered, the approach to CBT content in subscription mental health apps can vary quite a bit, but it tends to help users get started or maintain a basic understanding of CBT principles.
