Flat tappet or roller? I use a couple different grinds that work good, both are Bullit grinds, and both have 106 lobe centers. .630 lift on the roller, .585 lift on the flat tappet. Lots of torque with both cams and they work good from 350" to 406" mtr. with a heavy car.

I can scan the cam cards that way you can see all the #'s. the flat tappet is excellent with a carb on gas, the roller is good with carb on gas or with a toilet bowl on alky. There are better grinds for the same motors in a lighter car, but hese have worked best for me with a heavy car.

Wow thats alot of duration. How much converter did you use?I did talk to Tim at Bullet. He suggested:260,[email protected] .375 int lobe lift which he reccommened a 1.6 rocker that would be .600 and ex lobe .388@583 with a 1.5 with a 106 lsa in at 102.

flat tapet cam
I run a 5500 PTC converter and it would stall every bit of it.
The car ran 6.26 at Holly Springs when it was a 620 ft strip on gas with brodix track 1's and an 850 carb. and 6.20 gears. It ran 6.61 @ memphis on gas with the same 406" junk motor, i mean speed pro pistons and stock pink rods, with a torquer manifold. I broke a rod bolt and retired the motor. The motor is going back together with good parts in my Pro Street 1998 Sonoma stepside, with a 4,000 stall and 4.88 gears. I expect it will run mid 10's with mufflers because the truck is 600 lbs lighter and wil be streetable, My Malibu is 3250lbs. I'll fill up at Sonic with unsweet tea and drive to the track 30 miles away. I know it will do it because it's about 600HP with this setup.
