Trouble is If the car runs better right off the bat is that I wont know if it was switching to the hotter plug or shortening up the gap, but either i just hope it runs better. I'll let y'all know results.

Charles try shortening your gap on the cooler plug 1st..race engines loves cooler plugs anyway..this could fix it off the bat..if not step op 1 hotter and repeat the gap setting mentioned...this way you will know.
