1977 Camaro 49,000 original miles

This was funny, I thought the rear lower pan was painted black but as I looked closer its covered in undercoat, put some gas on a rag and wiped a spot off. Look at that pretty blue paint! Looks like some more elbow grease will be needed...

Swiley I might. going to put it up in the air on cribs over the winter and maybe do a section at a time. Use a wire brush to clean up and then just hit it with some satin black

Craigslist score today!
17" Torque Thrust II's with BFG G-Force tires in 245/45ZR17's all the way around.
500 miles on the whole package and I paid less than 1/2 price
Probably will put some 275/45's on the back
I looked for some Cragar SS's or a set of Centerlines but these popped up and fit perfect. I think the aluminum color goes good with the bumpers

got a pile of parts in on Friday
Custome Auto Sound USA 630-II digital receiver with a Bluetooth package
Rockford Fosgate 6x9's
Metro Softseal door and window weatherstips
I did manage to salvage the original jute of the back package shelf and install it on the new one
I had tp pull the spare out to get the 6x9's installed, It looks brand new. I am missing the lugnut wrench/jack handle aling with the bolt and wing nut that hold it all in place

I am getting to old to crawl around in trunks and backseats anymore but after some colorful language, the 6x9's are installed...
The stereo install went OK, my only complaint is they dont come with a faceplate but I do like the correct looking knobs. The quality is nice and the digital RDS shows you station name and song if they transmit that info. The Bluetooth connects quick and I was impressed with the sound. Going to pickup a replacement dash speaker here soon and make use of the front channel

I do like the quality of the Metro door seals and weatherstrips, this is the 3rd set I have installed and the hardest part is taking off the door panels and old strips
My originals were still soft but starting to fall apart
Kind of nice to still see the factory vapor guard in place
I did find that at some time the passenger side glass had been broken, still shards in the inner door. It was replaced with a correct Soft Ray glass that matched the drivers side
Got the door and window weatherstrips installed then rolled up the windows, shut the doors and let her sit in the sun awhile to let the new seals all settle in
