'632 BBC Install in 55 Chevy Car
Need Help!!!
Looking to install a 632 BB in my 55 Chevy car. I have a BBC in it now, However it is a low deck engine. I have 2" recessed firewall, and ididit steering, Stock manual box, 2" dropped spindles.
Headers are Patriot 1 7/8. Will I need a rack and pinion to free up some space? I spoke with Jim Meyer Racing, and his rack does not clear a BB. Also spoke to Dan at Lemon's Headers, He does not make headers for a Tri 5 yet. Has anyone gone thru this!!!
Thanks

I personaly think you need bigger headers for a 632" motor, i also think you may have to go to fenderwell headers, maybe custom made for this application, not cheap by any means, but if you can afford a 632" you should be able to afford a correct set of headers for this application.
