New stinger driver looking for advice
Hi guys,
So like the subject says I'm a new driver just purchased my first dirt car.
It's a 1st gen nissian altima, to be honest I don't know a lot about cars just went to the dirt track and now I'm addicted. Just looking fr any advice or tips to make car run better how to run better lines anything that could help. Be nice not looking for any negativity just friendly conversation.
Thanks,
Darren

First make sure it is safe, good cage, all bolts tight. Then learn the rules for your class what you can and can't do.Talk to some people that run that class adn listen to them on how to do the setup and have fun.

Just to add to swiley's advice . . don't worry about Horsepower. Get the setup right. You can always build more HP than you can make work on an oval track. Especially when starting out as a novice . .
Bottom line . . Have Fun.

Seat Time - SEAT time - SEAT TIME....LOTS of LAPS and follow the fast cars when you can, you'll learn the line that works. DO NOT DRIVE OFF YOUR FRONT BUMPER !!!! Be looking about 1/4 lap ahead of you. You'll avaod upcoming trouble, be looking for what the cars ahead are doing, and then setting yourself up for a passing point.
SMOOOOOOTH is fast !!!
