question? every dragster i seen run at local tracks had headers mounted so they go up above the tires and i see a few on here like yours. is it a matter of choice or different class? just wondering :wink:

When using 'over the top' style, you have a high probability of loading up the headers with rocks and sand while towing/cruizing back to the pits. Hot sticky tires pick up everything you roll over. Some guys mount tractor flapper covers on the 'over the top' style to prevent this from happening.
