You might try a stainless check ball the same diameter as the check valve, and cut the same diameter as the ball off the length of the check valve. Put the check ball in first, put the old valve on top for weight. Don't ditch the body, if there is an issue with the seat that can be replaced as well. You can get them from BLP or Quick Fuel, those bodies are the same that Quick Fuel uses.
thanks for the reply Mark. Sorry it took me so long to respond. Good info that I will try. Will keep working with this main body but i think I could use a little more cfm and was looking at some of BLP's main bodies. Thanks again, Brian
Mark, I went through my junk and found 1 check ball the right size at .156. Had others too big and too small at .187 and .123. Where would I have to look to find another .156 check ball? Brian
Check balls ordered. Had to order a quantity of 100 so I will have several lifetimes of this item. Was going to go to carb shops in Indy but buying 100 was cheaper than the gas. Thanks again and I will need that company in the future. Brian
I don't know how often he comes over here since the change and drop off of users. You might be better off going to the site that is in his signature and asking him there.
