Ya know that you're a hardcore racer when you are under sedation for a colonoscopy and your last words before going totally under are (slurringly) "Maaaaan, I hope they don't strap me in a race car while I'm like this...."

Got a ways to go. I'll turn 43 next week. (I feel at least 70) You guys give me something to look forward too!

Turned 59 today and the car I race turned 38 last month. I ordered the car new. Was my 21st birthday present from me.

Will be 59 this month, hopefully. On my fifth drag car in 40 years. Been building a few engines for myself and friends every year. Cars have been my only hobby unless you count women.

69 and ran 22 races last year and plan on the same. racing 52 years and had the samw car 32 years. Still fun . Like Zipper said built 5 motors last year but used to do 10 or so. Later J.Smith 4621 racing
