Tractor pull truck ...or GASSER
Okay guys, I 'm new to this discussion board but love old cars and wanted to get some advice on what to do with my new project....Restore it back to a Tractor Pull Truck...or make a Gasser.....
....
..It is a 1948 ( not 1951 as I first thought ) International Panel truck with the front end extended about 18", already tubbed out with aluminum inside the truck ....
I am not sure how to post an photo....but I can email it to someone that can..
..I am open for suggestions....Thanks,

i think i would make a gasser, i have buddies that truck pull, and i,ll have to say it,s fun, but you only get to make one pull, where as if it,s a gasser and you take it to the track, you may go a few rounds, even if you don,t win, get more seat time, which mean,s more fun.

I agree with the birdman. It's all about seat time.I took my Olds off the road and made it a dedicated drag car.As soon as I can afford it,I'm getting street tires and riding it again.Even if it does have 5.83s.My opinion, keep it on the street.Even if it shouldn't be.I'd love to be able to drive mine to the store once in a while.
