!!!HELP!!! QUESTION??? CRANKSHAFT IDENTIFICATION !!!HELP!!!
I just took a crank shaft in on trade. It is a BBC Crank.
On the front of the 1st counter weight it has these numbers stamped into it.
33738 & 4.000
I know 4.000 is the stroke
It is a std/std crank
Looks like all journals and counter weights are cleaned up really nice. And I have to say I have never heard a crank ting so loud when I tap it with a small wrench.
At the center of the crankshaft on one edge of the counterweights it has KNK stamped into it. Actually looks like it was stamped into the crankshaft.
And on the next counter weight it has a 28 stamped into it.
The guy I got it from said it was a callies made back in 2001, but who knows.
Even though it looks like a really nice crank, I don't think it is a callies.
Your help is appreciated

You can call Callies. I called them with some numbers on a crank that didn't match their part number. The guy said it was Callies and when I called they said it was one of their cranks but that was the serial number. Maybe you will get lucky. Let us know if you find out.
