Question wiring question for fan

Hey anybody out there that can help me with an electrical hookup question for a supplemental 10" cooling fan?? I hve a 49" chev coupe with a 350 cu chev motor and auto transm I am disabled so I cannot get under the car to work or even lay on my side in the passenger compartment to look for a wiring hookup point,,SO, the easiest point to tap is at the alternator for a 12v. tap for the 2nd fan..The battery is in the trunk, i can't lay under the car to run a wire form there to the front..Would the charge terminal be ok to hook up the feed wire from there thru a fuse and a relay to the fan...OR will it be too much voltage and amps when the car is running?? would it be safe or not.. I live in area where there's NOT much help avail..so any help with this question will be greatly appreciated by me !!

THANK YOU Sincerely

Larry B.
