Engine issue help!
Just wondering if anyone might have an idea on why my sbc acts like it wants to fall down when I try to stall it up now. The engine is a 355 ci with 58cc chambers, throat cut, bowl ported with 2.02/1.60 valves. 13.54:1 comp. weiand single plane intake, 700 dbl pumper carb.
Cam is .488/.510 in/ex. • 300°/310° Adv. Dur. • 112° Lobe Center • 81° Overlap.
3000 stall conv. With th400 tranny.
Used to have a crane fireball 2 292 duration .480 in/ex cam in it and it ran like a champ with a 750 com carb on it, besides just running a tad rich.

Car falls down
MY opinion is convertor is too tight ,don't know anything about your car but I would GUESS at least a 4500 convertor. I also don't like the 112 C/L , I would want 106-104 Later J.Smith 4621 racing
