distrubtor what do I need?
Hello. I am getting a new distrubutor.(cuz the POS one i had broke) Question is do i need a vacum advance or a mechnical? Just tell me what each does and advantages and all. It is a daily driver and track and will have nitrous.

Hey brother;
I can tell that the mechanicals advance time based on rpm's set by weight and spring tension (the curve) and vacuum, due to changes in engine load and rpm's AND that the average street engine needs a combo of the two.
Now as far as the "Juice" goes, you'll have to wait for one of them to come along (I'm a blower dude, backyard budget style with a redneck twist and a shot of Corona, with lime of course.)

That's the old saying anyways. First need to post info for the guys to help. Cubic inches, cam, intake, carb, tranny, gears, etc. AND What is it you want it to do?
