Make that 4ft 10 inch 90 lb 72 yr old grandma...No matter if your a gun person or not this is a GREAT STORY and a prime Example of how a gun saved two ladies lives....cause your right Swiley he would have killed them both. and possibly a Cold Murder Case on our hands.
The only thing different I would like to have read is the "Grandma Shot Intruders Package Off ".....That would have been Great to me ......

both of my gramdmas would have done the same thing. one big difference between the two. is my dads mom would have been all upset and come unglued after the fact. my moms mom would have shot him and went to get a snack and a nap.we grew up with guns as did my kids. im really shocked when I hear about people who have never been around guns. to me and mine.they are a tool to be used when needed. you cant build a house withoput a hammer and you cant protect your house without a gun. simple S THAT..

I will bet you were also tought to respect you elders something else that no longer tought. I too was raised around guns and learned early in life about there purpose. The first time I rember shooting I was 6 or 7 years old and my dad and grandfather tied a board to a tree for me to rest the barrel of that old 22 on. While we are at I will also bet you spent a good amount of time outside and not setting on the couch watching tv or playing video games.
