Default 454 build

this will be my first motor build....my question is that what is a good site to learn how to build a big block...building on a budget..would love to make 500+ horses.....thanks in advance

If You have a NICE Stock in FRESH CONDITION 454 8.5-10.1,Just Bolt on a B&M Supercharger and your Build is SIMPLE and NIce LOOKING!
And is EASILY Adjustible!

motor has been sitting up for a few years...it is an 81 454 that came out of a winnebago

Start with some good heads. I think around that year Chevy went to those peanut port heads.

find some 049 casting heads they are the largest oval port stock heads gm made and you still can port them out a little if needed.
