With so many custom 1955 Chevys, a lot of them start turning out the same; an LS based motor with Torque Thrust wheels and flames. Gary Kollofski didn’t want to run into that problem.Gary with the help of his fabricator/engineer buddy Dale Pelvit wanted to create something that no one has ever seen before. Gary’s ’55 started out life as a Bel Air with a 6 cylinder motor and manual transmission. Gary later picked up a couple marine V12 engines and the marriage date was set. The magic doesn’t stop there, Gary decided he wanted a forward tilting hood along with suicide doors to really turn some heads, while still maintaining a stock look. The Bel Air maintains its natural appearance with 210 trim, Rally wheels, stock interior and original two tone paint scheme. What Gary Kollofski dreamed up truly is one of the most unique cars that you’ll ever see at a Tri-Five Chevy show.
