I’ve been wondering if there’s a solid way to use AirPlay from my MacBook to a Firestick without needing an Apple TV. I’ve tried a few random apps in the past, but they were super buggy, laggy, or just didn’t work at all. Has anyone actually found a method that works reliably How to AirPlay to Firestick from ios? I’m mostly trying to mirror my screen or stream videos without cables. Would love to hear what actually works for you guys.

Ich hatte mit AirPlay auf dem Fire TV Stick auch schon meine Probleme. Viele Apps funktionieren zwar auf den ersten Blick, aber sobald man den Bildschirm spiegeln oder Videos streamen möchte, merkt man schnell die Verzögerungen. Wichtig ist, dass MacBook und Fire TV Stick im selben WLAN sind und die verwendete App sowohl macOS als auch den Fire TV Stick unterstützt. Eine Möglichkeit ist AirScreen, das AirPlay auf dem Fire TV Stick ermöglicht. Für gelegentliches Streamen klappt das oft ganz gut, bei der Bildschirmspiegelung kann es aber trotzdem zu Verzögerungen kommen. Wenn du hauptsächlich Videos schauen möchtest, würde ich zuerst AirScreen testen. Für absolut flüssiges Spiegeln hängt viel von der WLAN-Verbindung und dem jeweiligen Mac-Modell ab.
