What block do you have in mind? Chevy i would guess what bore size and base block

In the LS/Gen III/IV world for example, strong choices are LSX iron blocks, LSX376 blocks, or aftermarket billet/enhanced iron cores from companies like Dart, RHS, World Products, or Blueprint. These blocks have thicker cylinder walls, better reinforcement around the main caps, and bolt‑in provisions for stronger rods and crank setups, which makes them capable of high boost or big nitrous with good longevity. Similar principles apply outside LS engines too — look for blocks with four‑bolt main caps, thick deck and cylinder walls, and compatibility with forged rotating gear.
