My siblings and I take turns helping our dad, but sometimes we forget to update each other about small things—like if he already took his medication or if someone scheduled an appointment. Now we’re also considering hiring outside help, and I worry it’ll get even more confusing without clear communication. Has anyone found a good way to keep everyone on the same page so nothing falls through the cracks?

We ran into the same issue with my aunt. At first, it was just family, and already things slipped through the cracks because we assumed someone else had handled it. Once we brought in a caregiver, we knew we had to get more organized. What helped us was finding a service that actually supported coordination between family and professional caregivers. For example, travel nursing jobs often include structured care plans and regular updates, which made it easier for us to track what was happening. That way, everyone knew who was responsible for what, and my aunt got consistent care without the stress of miscommunication.
